frYars

frYars, (Ben Garrett) is an absolutely lovely Pop/Electro artist. It’s not often that one comes across an artist that is playful, jovial, and has an almost childlike essence about them. frYar has all of these qualities. His musical ability doesn’t just stop at playful pop tunes that take you back to a simpler time; he also is a master of much mellower sounds, ones that calm and cool the soul. His songs are not just catchy tunes; he is in many ways a lyrical master writing songs that are not just trite melodies with catchy lines, they have substance. In a music world where too often substance seems to be lacking from uplifting music, frYars is a refreshing and up lifting change.

The Objectives and Reasons for Drop Magazine

I have decided to create my own blog. Being away from the music scene of which I am so involved with, I believe I have one of the more unbiased opinions; I'm not looking to please any artist, in hoping they will spot me a free ticket here or there. Like anyone else I am trying to dig through the piles of rubbish to find a decent band. In this mission I have found many that make me giddy just from listening to them, take my worries away, get me through trying times, and some that make me cringe out of confusion, not knowing whether I'm listening to music or not.
Sifting through many music review sites, I have found myself bored, simply 'cause I have already found a great deal of the bands already. In an effort to delve even deeper into the ever widening pool of music, I have created Drop Magazine. The opinions written by the reviewers of Drop Magazine are strictly the unvarnished bias of our own making, the truth as we see it. We are not here to tell you what music to listen to; we are here to provide a forum for you to form your own opinions. We are providing our opinion and, a link for you to form your own. Armed only with our independent minds, and a pissing rubbish laptop, we will do our best.
